Cesar Toxqui Cellars has developed an excellent reputation for producing exceptional Zinfandels from Mendocino and Sonoma vineyards. Always trying to source from vineyards that are dry-farmed and old vines. For our 2018 Zinfandel Grand Reserve, we were very fortunate to source grapes from a 50-year-old vineyard in Mendocino County. Head-trained vines and dry farming are the common denominators to survive many California winters and sunny days to mature genuinely unique grapes. This full-bodied Zinfandel has 10% Petite Sirah to add more body and color. Blackberry, chocolate, cassis flavors, and a depth of age are well integrated into this 2018 Zinfandel Grand Reserve.
